Boys have cross country again

Although small in number, the boys cross country team made tremendous bounds.

They improved their record over last year, 0-6 to now 1-6.

Also, for the first time in quite a few years, a boy team member qualified for State finals.
Taylor Compton, a sophomore, described the experience as “pretty sweet.”

“It was crazy, the start line was pretty intense,” he said.

Compton finished 47th earning All State Academic honors and clocked in two seconds short of the school record.

All in all, the boys team concluded their season with high hopes for next year.

Elliot Mulder said that although the season was very hard, it pumped him up for next year.
