The boy’s freshmen basketball team has begun its season with hopes to get better everyday.
Coach Jared Randall says that it is too early to tell how the team will do, but he sees signs of potential. The team’s strengths are in its depth and its weaknesses are rebounding and defense. Coach Randall believe though that both are improving.
“I like to beat everybody,” Coach Randall said, so he isn’t really looking forward to one team this year.
The Hawkeye’s hope to open the season with a win on Tuesday, Dec. 6, when they host the Allegan Tigers.
