Dress up days meant to fire up students for Homecoming

Students showed off their cancer support by wearing pink on Monday.

All this week, Hamilton High School will celebrate Homecoming.

As part of homecoming Hamilton will be having a dress up week.’

Dress up week is a week when each day there is a different appointed way to dress up.

Monday the school will dress in pink to support breast cancer awareness.

Tuesday’s camo day should see many outfitted in their best hunting gear.

Students will put on their best clothes for Wednesday’s Fancy Day, while Thursday’s theme day should bring out the superhero in everyone.

Friday’s Hawkeye day will see people decked out in black and gold.

Accoring to Student Council Advisor Susie Alward, the reason for dress up is to get students more involved and enthused about Homecoming.

The ThunderHawk asked some students which day is their favorite, and here is what they said.

Tate Knapp: Camo day because camo is my favorite color.

Brett Windemuller: Camo, so I can go hunting right after school

Elizabeth Schondelmayer: Pink because it is in support of breast cancer.

So, don’t be surprised with the way the students dress this week.
