The Hamilton student section has a white out planned for tonight’s boy’s and girl’s varsity basketball games. Both teams are doing very well this season, with the boys only having one tough loss to West Ottawa and the girls standing at 4-0. Both teams feel they still have areas to improve.

“I’m looking forward to a couple of close competitive games,” Athletic Director Jerry Haggerty said,  and also hoping for a large crowd tonight to fire up the Hawkeyes.”

Junior Connor Davis had this to say about tonight’s game, “I feel like we’re going to rebound very well tonight after Tuesday night’s loss and despite all of the people that have been sick this week. I think we have a good bench that can fill the gaps for anyone who won’t be able to play as much as they usually do.”

“I appreciate the student section getting involved,” he added, “it should help us improve and play better.”

The girls team is also excited about the crowd.

” We want to do better than we did last year against them,” Ashley Overbeek said. “Last year we had a lot of people foul out and we won by one in overtime. Hopefully this time is better.”

Come out and support the Hawkeyes, both boys and girls.
