I feel that we played really good together,” Grady, outside hitter, said. “We still have to work on the little things, but overall, I’m happy with how we played.”

The girls had strong defense, and good communication, but couldn’t come through with the win.

“In the first game, we missed zero serves and communicated very well,” Coach Lillmars said. “We played better defense in the second game.”

“I think that in our eyes, it felt like we won,” setter Helana Sharar said. “We worked together pretty good. We had lots of good digs from Dani (Goodyke) and both of our middle hitters, Molly (Jones) and Mads (Madison Stehle).”
