Hamilton JV soccer conquered Zeeland West with 5-0 victory

The Hamilton Hawkeyes dominated possession over the Dux last night.

With 3 goals in the first half and 2 in the second, the game was taken over by the offense of Hamilton.

Coach Bob Wandel predicted a high scoring game ending in a win. He commented that the Hawkeyes needed to improve inside the 18. They successfully achieved their goal, scoring five times.

Kyle Dams said they needed to work on being aggressive after the tie with HC. That is exactly what the Hawkeyes did, not allowing a single goal to be scored by Zeeland West.

“We dominated them,” Dylan Hornik said.¬†¬†Hornik scored two of the five goals claimed by Hamilton.

Nathan Heuer, Collin Brinkhuis, and Austin Fogerty also contributed one goal each to the final score.
