Hamilton varsity golf takes 4th at conference jamboree

On Monday morning Hamilton varsity golf played in the 18 hole OK green jamboree. The match was played at Grand Valley’s home course, The Meadows.

The Hawkeyes played well with Nick Carlson earning medalist with a four over par, 76 overall.

Carlson was followed by fellow sophomore Justin Folkert who shot a 91 and both Adam Reed and Anthony Guillzolt who came in with 95s.

Their team score of 357 gave them a fourth place in the match, helping them finishing 4th place overall in the conference.

Byron Center went on to win the tournament thanks to their 333 overall, which also gave them the conference title for this year.
