Hamilton varsity soccer loses tough game to Unity Christian

The varsity soccer team traveled to Unity Christian last night where the Hawkeyes lost a conference game 4-1.

Junior Elijah Walker scored the lone goal for the Hawkeyes, but it was no concern for the Crusaders who scored three in the first half and one in the second. ¬†Aaron Smit assisted on Walker’s goal.

“It’s really tough coming into a game like Unity and playing with the confidence needed from the beginning,” Coach Malefyt said.

Accordingly to Coach Malefyt, Smit played a great game in the defensive position while Dayton Pax had a number of great saves.

The Hawkeye soccer teams take on the Holland Dutch, Wednesday, Sept. 26.
