Hamilton’s freshmen boys blow out Zeeland West

Christian DiCesare prepares to inbound the ball.

The Hawkeyes rolled to an easy win after getting off to a quick start by scoring the first 12 points of the game before Zealand West even put points on the board.

The freshmen boys found themselves continuing to pull away with the lead at 18 by the half.

“We didn’t shoot as well as we did against Holland Christian, but it was good enough to win,” Ben Koopman.

The stingy Hamilton defense held the Ducks to only 22 points and gave Hamilton an easy 50-22 victory.

“We were pretty confident going into the game and came away with the win,” Lucas Reimink said.

The Hawkeyes next game will be against Unity Christian this Thursday.
