Hunger Games, the movie you can’t miss

The Hunger Games was an excellent movie from my point of view. I had not read the books, so I can’t compare it to the book.

For those who have no clue what The Hunger Games is about, basically it is a futuristic setting where the nation of Panem is divided into 12 districts and each district is required to provide two people – a young male and female – to compete in the Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games take place at the capital and the 24 tributes fight to the death until one is left standing. But as they fight to the death, they are being filmed and so that the capital and districts can watch. The fight takes place in an “arena”; which is like a forest which can be manipulated in temperature, brightness, natural disasters and other things which I won’t spoil.

The movie follows the main characters Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) who are the tributes of district 12.  Katniss volunteered in the place on her sister, Primrose, making her the first volunteer tribute in district 12.

Overall it was a great movie, and I would suggest guys and girls go see it.  The beginning was a little boring, and some scenes were really intense, but every minute was worth it.
