JV tennis drops match to Holland Christian

After an intense match with Holland Christian, the Hamilton JV tennis team dropped the match.

Dueling with 9 flights of doubles, the Hawkeyes lost the match with a final score of 8-1.

The duo of Matt Miller and Jeremy Kempker won their match, finishing off the pro-set with a score of 8-2, being the only Hawks to win their match.

“We played well, they were just a hard team,” Coach Don Collison commented.   He went on to say “(Our guys) don’t have a lot of experience, but they’re growing.”

Coach Collison also went on to talk about the team, explaining they’re young, but still getting better.

The team plays Grand Rapids South Christian next.
