Varsity football aiming for 4th straight win tonight

The team huddles after their win earlier this season against Holland.

The Hamilton varsity football team puts its unbeaten record on the line tonight against the Forest Hills Northern Huskies.  The Hawkeyes are going after their 4th straight win this season.

“We need to adapt and be flexible, think on our feet,” Head Coach Chris Myers said.

The Hawkeyes are going into the game 3-0 and expecting to be 4-0.

“You can be 3-0 and play really really good teams, or be 3-0 and play a bunch of bad teams,” he pointed out.

He also believes that the Hawkeyes are humble and honest about how good the team is.

“I think (the Huskies) are probably the best team we’ve played,” Myers said.

He is expecting an exciting, hard hitting game.

Kickoff here in Hamilton is 7 p.m.
