The girls varsity basket ball team is off to a great start this season. With an 8-1 record, the only loss coming against Class A Grandville, the team is on the way to a successful season. They are facing Holland tonight and are hoping to move to 9-1.
“We have great team chemistry on and off the court right now,” Coach Dan VanHekken said. “The girls continue to work hard and want to improve. I feel we are playing great defense. I feel they have improved over the last couple weeks in that category.”
“We work hard during practice and it’s rewarding to get a win,” Madalyn Sharar said.
Hamilton will have the home court advantage tonight against Holland at 7 pm.
“We come into each game respecting every opponent,” Kate Kooiker said.
