Varsity golfers 5th at OK Green Holland Jamboree

Hamilton’s varsity girls golf finished 5th in the OK Green Holland Jamboree yesterday after shooting a 224.

The team was only two strokes from 3rd place however, as Holland and Unity Christian both finished with a 223.

Hamilton senior Taylor Johnson led the Hawkeyes with a 53, finishing 6th overall.

Hannah VandeWege and Heidi Mihm were three shots back at 56.

Holland Christian won the Jamboree with a score of 199, while Byron Center followed in second with 217.

Coach Arnold wished congratulations to medalist Lyndsie Kamps from Unity Christian who shot a 46, one stoke ahead of her competition.

After the Holland Jamboree, Holland Christian and Byron Center are tied for first in the conference.  The Hawkeyes are in 5th place.
