Varsity soccer drops game with Unity Christian

The varsity soccer team played a tough first half against Unity Christian, but lost hope in the second half as the score the boys had a hard time keeping up with their opponents.  The final score was 8-0.

“It was a misleading loss score-wise in that we battled toe to toe with them for the entire first half,” Coach Tyler Robinson said.

“It should have been 2-2 at half time,” junior Joey Boerman said. “I think we just lost hope.”

Unity has been a difficult competitor for anyone for several years, and Hamilton always tries to put forth a good effort to battle them.

“We played well in the first half, then they started pumping in goals and we lost hope.” junior Mason Horsting said. “To get better, we need to communicate and not give up hope.”

“We watched the ball too much and not our man,” senior Kinnon Fast said.
