Varsity volleyball loses to Byron Center in close match

Hamilton’s varsity volleyball team lost a match to Byron Center last night in straight sets.

Hamilton came out strong, but lost momentum about halfway through the first game.
Destiny Alexander had 22 assists to led the Hawkeyes.  Jordan Pikaart followed with 9 kills, while Jenna Schra kept up by adding 4 aces into the matches.
Final game scores were 25-15, 25-22, and 26-24.
The Hawkeyes continue the season with a match against Holland Christian tomorrow, September 20.
